Center for Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
Center for Physical Medicine is a well established practice that has been in existence for 20 plus years. We have two offices and they are located in Warren and Macomb, Michigan. Our primary focus is to diagnosis and treat multiple disorders of the musculoskeletal system, spine as well as other acute and chronic pain conditions. Our approach is to give each patient individual attention by listening, understanding and having an open communication to help them reach their goals of managing or eliminating their pain. We provide all of our patients with compassion in hopes to eliminate their pain so they are able to live their life to the fullest.
Dr. Robert Krasnick
Dr. Robert Krasnick is a board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Electrodiagnistic Medicine Physician with extensive experience and training in musculoskeletal and regenerative medicine. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Biology at the University of Michigan, Dr. Krasnick completed his medical degree at the University of Michigan Hospital Center. He completed his internship at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. Dr Krasnick pursued his residency training at Rush Presbyterian / St. Luke’s Hospital in Chicago Illinois, and then began private practice in the Chicago area. Dr. Krasnick returned to his hometown and is a founding member of Center of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation P.C.
Dr Krasnick has a special interest musculoskeletal medicine and is a leading expert in the field of regenerative medicine, having performed prolotherapy for over 18 years, and platelet rich plasma injections for over 8 years. He has been involved with the premier prolotherapy organization, Hackett Hemwall Patterson Foundation (HHPF) since 2003. Through this foundation, he has participated in multiple medical missions to Honduras and Mexico. He has been an instructor and faculty member for the HHPF missions and numerous conferences. Dr. Krasnick has learned, trained, and taught with world renowned physicians and is considered the local authority of regenerative medicine.
Additionally, he has had a special interest in ultrasound for diagnostic and treatment of a variety of musculoskeletal conditions for which he has been performing for the past 10 years. This office-based ultrasound allows immediate diagnosis and intervention without exposure to radiation for a variety of common conditions which leads faster diagnosis and treatment for his patients. Dr Krasnick married to Jane Krasnick M.D. and has 3 wonderful girls.
His interests outside of medicine include cycling, skiing, hiking, and traveling.
Dr. Daniel Ryan
Dr. Daniel Ryan is a board-certified physiatrist (physical medicine and rehabilitation) specialist with extensive training and experience in musculoskeletal and rehabilitation medicine.
Dr. Ryan received his Bachelors of Arts in both Health Science and Political Science at Kalamazoo college, and completed studies at the University of Caen, France. He completed medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine where he was president of his graduating class. After completing an internship in internal medicine at the Detroit Medical Center, subsequently completed his residency at the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Ryan is the founding member of Center for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation P.C. He is currently Chief of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Chief of Staff Elect at St. John Macomb Hospital. Dr. Ryan has served as Medical Director at several acute rehabilitation centers, subacute rehabilitation centers, long term care centers, home health care agencies and sports medicine programs. He has been team physician for several local high schools. Dr. Ryan has a special interest in patients who have suffered from the late effects of poliomyelitis and has directed a post-polio syndrome clinic for over 25 years. He was bestowed the Rotarian's highest award for his treatment of patients with medical complications from having poliomyelitis.
Dr. Ryan is current president of the Macomb County Medical Society and is a member of numerous local and national societies. He served as past president of the Michigan Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Ryan has published several medical articles, has received high patient satisfaction awards, and is currently clinical assistant professor Wayne State University School of Medicine and the Michigan State University School of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Ryan’s interest includes poliomyelitis, rehabilitation medicine, sports medicine, orthotics, musculoskeletal medicine. He is married with 3 fine children and has other interests which include sports, coaching, reading, history, and travel.
Dr. Aaron Sable
Dr. Aaron Sable is a Board-Certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology and subsequent medical degree from Wayne State University. Dr. Sable completed his internship at the Detroit Medical Center and then pursued his residency the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado. He trained further with a fellowship in Electrodiagnostic Medicine (EMG) at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Dr. Sable has a special interest focused on acute and chronic pain issues including medication and symptom management, different types of injections including Botox for spasticity and migraines. He performs EMG’s as well in the office. He takes a comprehensive approach exercising wellness for patients including dietary and smoking cessation recommendations. Additionally, Dr. Sable is certified in prescribing Suboxone to help patients with addiction to opiates.
